The creator of 'blissfully unaware' designs, Wendy Dinneen,
grew up on both coasts, spending winters in Arizona and California, and
summers on Long Island. After her undergraduate studies at Boston College,
Wendy worked at various international language institutes in the United
States & in South America. She went on to pursue graduate studies at
American University's School of International Service in Washington, DC,
where she earned an MA in International Relations. Her research led her
to the University of Trento, Italy, where she was able to work & study
while living in the Dolomites. Her love for travel & for people from
diverse cultures has greatly influenced the line, as every 'bliss' spot
represents a distinctive state of mind. As no two beach towns or vacation
spots are alike, equally unique are the people who wear these creations.
The unparalleled surroundings found within each 'bliss' location are reflected within every design and thus, the people and places catered to, remain exclusive. Wendy has enjoyed hearing stories from people who have collected these items from one amazing place to the next and appreciates the enthusiasm continually exhibited from retailers who have the chance to co-create items for their incomparable locales.
